A Cappella Choir

Our motto is "Esprit de Choeur" which means: The Spirit of the Choir.

The A Cappella Choir, A Cap for short, is a select ensemble consisting primarily of music majors and minors and requires audition for admission. This ensemble prepares works designed for a medium to small chorus, which are performed a cappella or with chamber instruments. Repertoire is selected from various style periods throughout music history. Performances occur on campus and throughout the region. Members receive one hour of academic credit per semester. The A Cappella Choir is directed by Dr. Sandra Frey Stegman
